Jason was a bit nervous. | Welcome to Jason |
President Shain then took the opportunity to formally introduce our newest Inbound Exchange Student Jason Chang. Jason is from Taipei in Taiwan, and was a bit too nervous to say much. He presented Pres. Shain with a banner from the Rotary Club of Banga, which sponsors him, and a gift which looked like something ornamental, but was in fact a traditional tea cup. Jason didn’t say much, but he did say “Hello” and “Thank you for having me”, and with a very big smile, said that he was very happy to be here. The gift that he gave to President Shain |
Jason with the banner from Banga, Taiwan. He initially stayed at Shain and Elise’s house for a few days, and is currently at Jo Clarke’s place until Tuesday. Then he goes to Kevin and Larissa Watson’s humble abode, where he will stay for a few months. |
