GUEST SPEAKER: Maringi Querino Maringi is married and has 4 sons and 9 grandchildren. She is a Teacher by profession and her first job was in the Midwest at Mount Magnet. Maringi then moved to the Lady of Mt. Carmel school at Mullewa. Maringi has now lived in Geraldton for 19 years working at Geraldton Regional Education Centre (now Ngala). She currently continues in her Teaching role with TAFE. |
Maringi is currently involved in the Geraldton Community with her roles in; The Maori Community; The Multi Cultural Association; She is a Director of Streeties and an active member of the Bahai Faith. Maringi’s talk this morning was a presentation on the Bahai faith. At the heart of the Bahai teachings is the goal of a unified world order that ensures the prosperity of all nations, races, creeds and classes. The Bahai faith is a new religion teaching the essential worth of all religions and the unity of all people. The Bahai faith is currently estimated to have between 5 and 8 million followers worldwide.
