I'm Broke!

I didn't even want to wager on the cricket but was told I was backing the Black Caps and the cost to the loser would be a Lotto ticket.

At Christmas one of our previous staff members called in and dropped off a Christmas card with a Lotto ticket for Sue and I. The week before last I took the ticket in to the newsagency to see if it was a dud like all the others I have had in my life (including the one Bluey gave me for my 60th birthday) The machine made this funny bing bing noise and the screen indicated I was a winner. We won $34.85 and I gleefuly showed Sue our success when I got back to the shop.

I don't know how much the Kiwi loss will cost me but I don't reckon I will have much left from $34.85

To make matters worse the Western Force got beaten again on Saturday night in South Africa.

I just feel like throwing myself under a bus.

Hope you enjoy your winnings Tim and Bluey. Maybe if you strike it rich you may remember me and buy me a new set of hearing aids because my current ones are full of sand.
