On Saturday a large number of our members were in attendance at the Dawn service at Birdwood House, while a further group travelled to Greenough Hamlet and observed the solemn ceremony. 

At 11.00am we gathered at the Geraldton golf course for the annual Legacy Golf Day. There was a good representation of members who ensured another highly successful event. The main golfer needs were catered for as the day proceeded and they were kept well fed and watered.

Prior to the commencement of the competition we were treated to the flag ceremony with representatives from the Navy supplying a bugler and flagmaster. This helped remind us all what the event was about.

Conditions were perfect for the event and at the conclusion of the day we moved into the clubhouse for prize giving and the traditional Beef roll and icecream followed by the auction of donated goods.

If you weren't there you missed a great day of fellowship and if you were there thanks for the great effort you put into the day.

Poor Bobby nearly missed the day because he had to get up early for the Dawn Service and spent the first half hour worrying about Pretty Boy who had gone down to Greenough. Then Bob went home for a light nap between services. He woke up just in time to get to the next service but it was touch and go. He was still a bit shell shocked when he got to the golf course and had to have a little sit down during the afternoon. Hopefully he has recovered by now.

Anyway ,there will be no excuse for not reading this weeks Breeze because you have all Monday to sit around and do nothing as ANZAC Day was Saturday 25th April.
