| Rotary in Geraldton |
PP Dan Crisp presented his version of the Raffle and Rotary corner. Dan gave us an insight into the local Rotary Clubs. Whilst Rotary is worldwide, Geraldton is well represented with 3 clubs and over 100 members. R C of Geraldton run an Australia Day concert, coordinate the RWADE, have an annual radio auction and were instrumental in getting the HMAS Sydney II memorial of the ground. |
Legacy Golf Day Auctioneer Oscar D'Souza R C of Batavia are also active with the Dead Reds nights, Laos tour, Wildflower tours, pet therapy at Nazareth House and organising the road signs at the 440 roadhouse. Of coure everyone knows what our club does. Dan asked one of our guests, Brian O'Mara, to draw the raffle and Doc Taylor's card came out. Happy birthday Doc. |
