Here is the information if you would like to help put for the Sun City Care Christmas Lunch.

Cheques can be made out to Sun City Care Inc. and sent to PO Box 300, Geraldton WA 6531 or dropped into our centre at 14 Assen Street, Karloo.

Any perishable items can be accepted prior to Christmas, how much prior depends on the life of the item but we can start accepting and storing items any time now, to our centre at 14 Assen Street, Karloo.  If any of your members would like to have a tour of our facilities at the same time, please ask them to ask for me and I would be more than happy to thank them for their very much appreciated donation and show them around.

 The Community Christmas Lunch is completely catered by us out of funds we raise and donations we receive.  Last year we had 143 people attending including a whole table of Seniors and 55 Children.

We try and give those who are attending a traditional Christmas meal and so we need food items that you might find on your own table but in larger quantities. Some suggestions might include:

- Jelly

- Custards 

- Plum Pudding 

- Pavlovas

- Fresh Cream

- Peaches

- Sponge Cake

- Strawberries 

- Cool Drink ( We usually use cans)

- Ham

- Roasts

- Potatoes

- Bacon

- Onions 

- Cabbage 

- Carrots

- Cheese

- Fresh Salad Ingredients

- Chicken Treat Vouchers  ( We order chickens in)

- Other miscellaneous food items

As we are usually the  only Emergency Relief Agency who stays open during the Christmas and New Year break we plan to give out up to 100 food parcels to those in need at this time.  Therefore any excess items donated can be used for food parcels.

Decor items needed include:

- Bon bons

- Paper Plates

- Napkins

- Disposable Cutlery

- Cups

Our colour theme is usually Red, White, Silver and Gold . 

All donations of goods or cash are  tax deductible and receipts are  available for both individuals and businesses .
