Club Members are invited to the come along ans see Science in action. Come for a visit between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to see some exciting involvement bt Students from local schools. The Rotary Club of Geraldton-Greenough's Science and Engineering Challenge
Schools are invited to bring teams of students to participate in science and engineering based challenge activities. Activities range from bridge building and catapults to earthquake proof buildings, flat pack furniture and communication and power networks and design.

The Challenge Day is aimed at students in year 9 and 10 and will take place on Wednesday 17 May, all schools in Geraldton and Dongara have registered to attend. Students and teachers find the days to be fun, exciting and inspiring. Attached also are some details of the events for your information and the Timetable for the Days is below
The basic timetable is: Science and Engineering Challenge (Secondary) Wed, 17th May - 9:15 students arrive - 9:35 start - 1:45 bridge testing - Presentations 2:15ish
Science and Engineering Discovery Day (Primary) Thursday, 18th May - 9:30 students arrive - 9:55 start - 2:00 bridge testing - Presentations 2:15ish.
Visitors are welcome throughout the day. |
