 Congratulations on your presidency for 2022-23.

 Appreciate if you can circulate this invitation to anyone in your networks to assist in having voices in the regions heard by the WA government

 WA Seniors Strategy - regional voices are needed

 Midwest residents are invited to help shape the State’s 10-year Seniors Strategy being developed by the Department of Communities to support older Western Australians of all backgrounds to live their best life as they age. 

 The Midwest Multicultural Association is assisting with the consultation both with public meetings and the online survey which will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Participation is open to anyone over 55 years of age whether retired or employed.

The Strategy aims to:

• Support older Western Australians of all backgrounds throughout the state to achieve better life outcomes.
• Help guide whole-of-community efforts to support older Western Australians to live their best life as they age.
• Be implemented through two-year action plans that will connect, coordinate, and evaluate activities across State Government agencies.
